The Supply Chain Analyst reports to the Manager, Supply Chain. The SCA will be responsible for all aspects of inbound and inventory management, container direct program and will be backing up the Import Specialist on customs related responsibilities. The SCA will be the liaison between sales, marketing, production planning, and distribution on all inventory related issues. They are ultimately responsible for ensuring the right inventory, in the right place, at the right time as required to achieve our business plan and inventory targets.

A successful SCA will:

  • Execute the product allocation to five DCs based on supply and demand. Generate PO release in Oracle purchasing module.
  • Manage in-network inventory "balancing" between DCs as needed to support sales and high fill-rates.
  • Reconcile inventory data against units on order, on water and on hand.
  • Respond to inquiries on all inventory related reports and analysis from both internal and external customers.
  • Provide various reports and analysis to support management decision making.
  • Support manager on network planning project and other supply chain improvement projects.
  • Execute and improve upon inventory management strategies that optimize productivity, investment, fill-rate, service levels and profitability.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working as a Supply Chain Analyst, Financial/Business Analyst in a multi-national distribution center/manufacturing environment is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in business related field is required. MBA is highly desirable.
  • Advanced level Microsoft Excel spreadsheet experience required.
  • Experience with basic statistics, advanced mathematics formulation and concepts are required. Statistical software experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Oracle ASCP is highly desirable.
  • Experience with Micro strategy Business Intelligence is a plus.
  • APICS certification is highly desirable.
  • Experience in the tire or automotive industry is a plus.
